Return & Refund Policy
At Waterside-Dinnerware, we comply fully with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please read our policy below for details on returns, refunds, cancellations, and faulty goods.
If you purchase from us online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items.
1. To cancel your order:
• Email us at info@waterside-dinnerware.com within 14 days of delivery.
• You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
You do not need to give a reason for cancellation.
2. Condition of Returned Goods
Items must be returned:
• Unused and undamaged
• In original packaging (where reasonably possible)
• With no signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect the product
We may reduce your refund if the item has been handled beyond normal inspection.
3. Items Excluded from Returns
The following cannot be returned under UK law:
• Used or damaged dinnerware
• Sealed items opened after delivery (for hygiene reasons, if applicable)
• Goods mixed inseparably with other items after delivery
4. How to Return an Item
To start a return:
1. Email info@waterside-dinnerware.com with your order number and reason for return.
2. We will provide you with return instructions and the return address.
3. Items must be returned using a traceable delivery method.
5. Return Shipping Costs
• If you are cancelling under the 14-day cooling-off period, you are responsible for return postage.
• If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover return costs or supply a pre-paid label.
• Original delivery fees will be refunded at the standard shipping rate.
6. Refunds
• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your returned goods (or proof of posting).
• Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
• Deductions may apply if the item shows signs of use beyond reasonable inspection.
7. Faulty or Not-As-Described Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
If the item is faulty:
• Within 30 days: You may choose a full refund or a replacement.
• Within 6 months: You may request a replacement. If this is not possible, you may be entitled to a refund.
Please contact info@waterside-dinnerware.com with proof of the issue and your order number.
Return costs for faulty items are covered by us.
8. Exchanges
• For non-faulty items, exchanges follow the 14-day return rules.
• For faulty items, we will arrange a free replacement.
9. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch
If your order has not yet been shipped, you may cancel it by emailing info@waterside-dinnerware.com.
If it has already been dispatched, cancellation will follow the standard return process.
